Road Playlists

Another Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 ~ STILL in the hospital – 2 weeks and two days…and counting – and jonesing for a return to schedule, as best it can be kept and watching freeway lines flying beneath my feet…and the RV.  A little more driving music to suit the mood.

Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 ~ After a loooong week and a half in the halls of the hospitals, our little Sophie Ann should receive some tests results pointing toward a milk & soy allergy or perhaps an anomaly such as a “passing bug” that has just taken forever to work it’s way out of her system.  Anyway, the big thing is this – for the past two days it’s been sunny and warmer here in Portland, Oregon… so, for a little music to drive to today, and for the hope of a diagnosis to work with or, even better, a clean bill of health, here’s a favorite…

It’s Thursday, March 21st ~ I have begun to take requests.  That’s right.  Somehow, I’ll figure out how to get a tip jar on this page, too.  Now, for some driving music from the 1970’s – a little something to get us in the driving grove… um… groove for tomorrow’s trip to Vegas. China Grove

03.15.13 ~ This page is dedicated to the tunes that inspire me to light the fire and kick the tires – to get out on the road and roll… and rock… Not necessarily in that order.  Let’s begin… with a little inspiration from the movie Vacation… you guessed it…are we going to Wally World?  Drivin’ Music!

Oh this brings back so many good memories from our time spent on the road traveling in the RV. Love reading your posts. Will look forward to reading them and following along on your jouney. God speed and safe travel. DeAnna

You’ve got to have “China Grove” on your playlist. Or “Jessica” by the Allman Brothers. Definite open road rockers.

China Grove is the perfect song to leave Sedonda (a favorite of mine) and into Vegas. Must take miss Sophie to elephant rock and then dowtown to see the laser light show. Keep Writing and Keep Trucking!
